You can type fractions
in and have them displayed as fractions by hitting the space bar between
the number and the fraction. Example: if you type 18 1/4 it will not
only appear as 18 1/4th but will also calculate as 18.25 when
referenced in formula.
Additionally, you can
format fractions to round to quarters, halves, hundreds, two digit
denominators, three digit denominators, etc. The format Cells dialog box
to the right provides an example.
